Sanyo Xacti VCP-CA9 GX High-Definition 720p Waterproof Camcorder, 9 MP, 5x Optical Zoom Dual Camera (Black) Overview

The VPC-CA9 was awarded IPX8 certification (which requires the device to operate when fully submersed in water) based on JIS C 0920 waterproofing guidelines. Being waterproof down to 1.5 m (5 feet), the CA9 gives you the freedom to shoot the action in any weather and in any season, whether its a winter sport*2, a marine sport, or just a rainy day. Furthermore, it employs the advanced compression technology of MPEG-4 AVC/H.264, a video format thats easy to handle on your PC and handy for web applications. The CA9 records high-definition 720p video in a waterproof body….As well as being a high-definition video camera, the CA9 also captures realistic 9-megapixel photos just like those taken with a dedicated digital camera. It can even record higher-resolution images at up to 12 megapixels, using real-time pixel-interpolation technology*3. Also, thanks to the reverse sequential shooting function, theres less chance of missing a photo opportunity. This function continues to load images as long as the Photo button is kept pressed down, and once your finger is released, the most recently loaded images are recorded onto the SD card…..Thanks to the ISO-standard MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, video files are as easy to handle as photo images shot with a regular digital camera. Its quick and easy to save files on a PC and upload them onto a web page to share with friends and family….With SANYO Xacti Dual Cameras, HD denotes image data recorded at a resolution of 1280 (horizontal) x 720 (vertical) pixels. Do not immerse in water for longer than 60 minutes. After 60 minutes of use in water, allow the camera to dry for at least 10 minutes. *1 Among consumer-use camcorders (as of March 19th 2009).*2 Please beware of moisture and condensation when using the camera in cold locations or in areas with high temperatures or humidity.*3 A pixel-interpolation filter converts 9-megapixel images from the image sensor into the recorded equivalent of 12 megapixels.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS8S – Digital camera – compact – 10.1 Mpix – optical zoom: 4 x – supported memory: MMC, SD, SDHC – silver Review

Customer Reviews

I researched on the Internet and called Panasonic on the difference between the device and FS7 for identifying money before you buy …. but in vain. I went with him and on my fingers. Most of the time I'm here to tell, you do not need to cross your fingers. The only difference I could find is that the FS7 does not come with an AV cable, and FS8. I would say if you do not strictly a color other than money, and you do not have the AV cable, you can read very good reviews of FS7 andsave a few dollars by buying the FS8.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS8S – Digital camera – compact – 10.1 Mpix – optical zoom: 4 x – supported memory: MMC, SD, SDHC – silver Feature

  • Intelligent Auto (iA) Mode – Optical Image Stabilizer; Intelligent ISO Control; Face Detection
  • Intelligent Scene Selector (Portrait, Scenery, Night Portrait, Night Scenery, Macro)
  • Digital Red Eye Correction
  • 10.1 Megapixels
  • Optical Image Stabilizer – MEGA O.I.S. (Auto/Mode1/ Mode2)

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS8S – Digital camera – compact – 10.1 Mpix – optical zoom: 4 x – supported memory: MMC, SD, SDHC – silver Overview

Colorful designs with a playful, fashionable look. DMC-FS8S that is easy to carry, easy to use, and easy to enjoy.Just press the iA button, aim and shoot. The camera does all the rest, automatically activating four detection and correction functions. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom and Super Steady Shot Image Stabilization (Red) Review

Posted by admin Comments (0)

Customer Reviews

I had my T900 red for a few weeks, and here is a list of things I like in order of importance:

– The superb quality video. This camera shoots 720p video at 30fps, and the quality far inside and outside the building exceeded my expectations. I used a T100, but also the use of cameras from Fuji and Casio for certain occasions, the difference between the T900, the high quality 720p and typical VGA is fine, other cameras such as day and night. Not onlyYou get the HDTV resolution, the colors are vibrant and the clarity is just great.

– You can optically zoom is the lens during video recording. It is an indispensable function for me, since I consider most of the videos of my children.

– Very good image quality. This is not a digital SLR camera, that's for sure, and the picture quality is probably not as good as Canon and Panasonic compact digital cameras, but still very good. I read some reviews before deciding on the camera, and I hadConcerns about image quality, but they were dispelled the minute I checked the pictures on my PC. Very good contrast and clarity, and they make beautiful prints.

– The Smile Shutter. I never thought that I buy in to this feature, but now I absolutely love it! You can adjust the sensitivity in three stages, and you can even select "child priority" or "adult priority" "And it really works! This is just totally awesome for recording still images my children. (Smile Shutter is not no videoMode.)

– Large 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD. There are no traditional controls, touch screen, like most Sony cameras. The LCD is 1920×480 resolution, and the menu text is a little jagged, but you will love his bright, high speed and clarity of the image to see.

– Fairly easy to use. Sony uses a high degree HOME menu with submenus, but it's not too complicated, just a little harder, the tricks of art that one, we say to understand the iPod touch.

–Elegant and rich in features. That's pretty thin, but still a 4x optical zoom with optical image stabilizer. The zoom works in movie recording mode. It is the Memory Stick PRO Duo up to 16 GB. Battery lasts about 150 pictures with flash. Not bad. It is easy to carry the light into a pocket, too.

In short, I love this camera. It is perfect for all occasions.

Cyber cool but needs some work – Robert Cantu – aliso viejo, ca United States
I've owned several brands of cameras Point and shoot, like Nikon, Kodak and Canon. There are a number of things that I do not like with this camera:

The first is the position of the target. It is for me or someone simply to remove all traces of the lens. It is at the upper right side if it. If you try to hold the device with both hands, you will naturally want to keep on the side with the thumb and forefinger. Here is touching the index of the lens. Youmust consciously think about how you want to keep.

Second, the USB transfer cable only in the host device. This is another part of the scale does not carry with them and I really do not know where I lodged.

Third, it seems to overexpose the image. Unless you're in the perfect lighting the image some adjustments may be necessary.

Finally, switch camera and video. Store in your pocket or purse, the switch can be easily moved from left to right, that goes with the video. Ittakes a few seconds to have different modes when you use the device.

An amazing camera! – Alexia Padron-tineo – Fredonia, NY, USA
I love my new camera. It has features of Nice and the picture quality is just unbelievable. It's like an SLR camera. I can take her anywhere and photos quickly. The battery no longer than 3 hours, but apart from that, I'm glad I choose this camera.

Must have – O. Oisamoje –
3months.I capital of T900 (red) for about must confess I know little about how electronics work. However I enjoyed every bit of its use. I received many compliments and I love and do not regret buying anything. The delivery came earlier than I expected (I ordered a night, and it was delivered) cool in the afternoon of the day.

Nikon Coolpix P90 12.1MP Digital Camera with 24x Wide Angle Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) Zoom and 3 inch Tilt LCD Review

Posted by admin Comments (0)

Customer Reviews

I do not like full-size digital SLR cameras from Nikon with vertical handles and beautiful VR Nikon lenses. I love her very much and will always use it as my camera of their choice.

I bought a Coolpix 8800 a few years ago and gave it mediocre reviews. It is much larger, again with the vertical grip, but it is robust and works well, even if it is a relatively small file size, dimming eye-level viewer and the small screen. It allows me great flexibility, but I wanted a smaller, with larger file sizes.

The P90 suggests that, far wider choice of movies and many more options for recording directly from my wallet. This is a camera that I can be a professional quality and versatility in non-flash situations that are unmatched by the cameras to capture the other without much of my professional systems.

The absence of a series of membranes lose flexibility in important areas. He has no claws, it can be gerry-rigged for complex situations Flash. I Really Doplan to use it at this level. It uses compressed JPEG images 4-1, and the quality a little and has no way of images or RAW uncompressed TIFF. The zoom seems nervous, but that there may be, if I need practice.

In extreme cases, optical and digital zoom, combined with the best PR I used it to achieve results very good hand. I can hardly wait for the next encounter with the red-tailed hawk in the swamp near my house! It is also useful, some havetrue wide-angle option.

One of the main reasons I bought this camera, I Arches and Canyonlands NP, and last year, when I was there in the high desert wind as howeled! The disadvantage of the dust that was on my sensor DSLRs, including self-D90 and DX300. There is no feeling worse than the return to a motel for downloading hundreds of images and see that you have to edit for almost everybody. Welcome back to the cinema! Can with a closed system, I goanywhere and not worry about the dust!

So far I've only got the camera a few days I shall not take spectacular shots. I did not take something that I want to 20×30, so I will reserve my opinion on compressed JPEG images. You may be better than I had expected. I found that I "like art scene, he has contempt for the right color temperature setting on the screen. Since this is a camera available light (I), the flash, it will be a useful way.

I willprobably update this review after I direction of the shot. 4gig SD card will be about 650 shots, the quality is a major problem. The battery has a limited life, so I will establish my extras. I only remember that there is a backup! If things go well for me this is the best camera for the average amateur will ever own, and it's not me talking. I'm just uber-picky …

Nikon Coolpix – Joseph A. Beckwin – Lilburn, GA
The compact size is impressive – the ability to have so much in so little a small package. I use it mainly in the macro mode, and is wonderful
I love shooting in natural light without flash and the camera is very good

Great point and shoot camera!!! – Brandi – NC
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this camera. I had the Olympus Stylus 730 for several years and loves it, but I wanted an upgrade, but not yet ready for an SLR. This camera is completely adapted to my needs. I wanted total control of manual adjustments to get ready for the SLR, but is not ready for the cost, because I am still learning about photography. This camera is certainly very much on the right, at $ 300. The 24x optical zoom is impressive. I used to 3x, for the inclusion of a distance is terrible.I love the tilt screen, this feature very functional. I was also looking for a digital camera with a viewfinder, although the viewfinder of this model, the digital display, it served its purpose. The method of continuous shooting is large, around 12 frames per second shooting … This makes that you get that perfect shot at a sporting event or dance simply.

The camera comes with a large weight and is very good in the hand. I like that it has a trigger for flashIf you do not use a flash, which you do not open it. The menu is easy to use. Battery life seems to be about 4 hours and lasts only 2 for a full charge. The camera has a lens cap and a neck strap, USB cable, TV cable, charger and battery. I bought a spare battery, and we recommend that for a genuine Nikon battery EN5 EL … I got mine for under $ 20. The MFG recommends use of its mark, I agree. Was based on current experience, I am off brand batteries MessPorts so that the camera becomes unusable.

Overall, if you are looking for a point and shoot with a large capacity of a manual SLR camera, a good choice.

Short and Sweet … I LOVE IT! – SLJ – NJ USA
Short, sweet and to the point! I love my new Nikon! As one of the first marriage, Christmas, birthday gift for me, I bought the Nikon P90! Well, if I saved the people he has actually said "in my cart, and when I bought an arrangement of the flash, I just checked with the camera too! (shhh.. Do not tell anyone!)
I love my camera and easy to use with clear images. I did just that! Excellent! My first shot was clearly out of the box! No adjustments, no settings – INOTHING BUT camera! Wow – it was sooooooooo clear! I will see this picture for you after all!
My only regret? I have not previously purchased!

Nikon P90 – Tien-chai Sue – USA
Image and stabliztion is good in all a very good device. However, I brought the camera to the camera as well as the function of fast video and the video quality was not very good and the zoom function does not work for video than for pictures. I thought, since the higher pixels for images and video to be better, but I was very disappointed with the video quality is. I think now that I have to buy a camcorder for better video quality.
