Lomography Diana + 20mm Fisheye Lens (Black) Review
Customer Reviews
As usual, I've tried a lot of information on their use in search of my Canon 40D, and unfortunately there is not much. I found some examples, but no comments except in the depth of the website of the magazine Wired. Anyway, the receipt I was really disappointed. It is not a magical, ethereal sheen to everything I thought it would. Of course, it's super soft, but I expected more I think of softness. Another thing I was disappointed about was that I like this I would get aboutan equivalent field of view 35 mm on an APS-C camera, but it's actually closer to 50mm. The field of vision is exactly the same 28mm as my first, so something must be in the translation with the Fisheye apect rather than an objective standard just lost. It should be obvious that you do not receive, vignetting and blur or edge, because you use a very small part of the center of the lens on an APS-C. I can not speak for a full frame camera. After using the lens for a few days, Iwas almost convinced that it does not focus on infinity. What you see about 30 meters not only sweet, they actually looked for discussion. I still can not really say. I tweaked the goal of creating a vignette, with the front of the lens and the withdrawal of a record f/5.6 Lensbaby aperture behind the front element. In addition, if you return the item before he will give you an advantage strange blur effect while maintaining the relative orientation of the center, but it was too much for me. I alsodrilled hole in the map to the same size as the opening element behind the lens. It gives you a stop more light and a little more blurred. Overall, I would say that the effect of this lens is more like a camera phone for poor Diana, but after playing with it and change it to my taste, I do not regret buying. I'm not sure it's worth $ 50 (including the card you need), but if you do not mind the price makes it fun to play.

A fun lens for the Diana f+. – Gypsy Cook –
I read the reviews here and after ordering the lens here is mine. This is a fisheye lens for the camera Diana F + Medium size. I read about people with guns and the adapter is the goal of their Canon camera is used. Then, after a bad review about the experience. This target works great with the Diana F + camera. The 12 pictures give true fisheye photos. With the size 16 in a perspective frame fisheye result is clipped off. The aim is working perfectly. Now that their use for Canon mounts, its obviously not be the same or nearly the same effect as with a real fisheye on a Canon camera. They are ridiculously expensive. Or add a Fisheye Canon, or with which you work. The aim of Diana is a very good one. Lomo is a target for use with a Lomo camera. Some have for your collection Diana F + lens have.
Diana Lens on Canon Rebel – Ryan C. Whiteside –
I bought this lens with the adapter for Canon EOS digital cameras expected to transfer a part of the style of my photography Lomography with the rebels. I was very disappointed. The style fish eye decreased significantly and was barely noticeable, and saturated surreal images with a camera was not removed Diana one single bit. I know this is not a problem, with the goal, but rather to try putting this lens on the Canon Rebel, but I thought, as a communicationfor each trial, what I have. I have about 15-25 pictures with her before I realized I much prefer the back of the lens and the adapter and try another way for a new creative touch to my photos to go.
Great but doesn’t work on crop-frame cameras – Max Thomas Stahl – Chicago, IL
I have a Canon EOS Rebel XSI, which has a sensor on its cultural context. The 20mm fisheye looks good, has great softness and shine pretty things, but if you have a full frame camera, you will not see the super-strong vignetting that you see on the pictures taken with a Diana. I am a 7D one of these days I'm going to go in my regular rotation on, but it's a bit disappointing. On my camera it's more like a wide-angle lens, but it's cool. Overall, I recommend this as aDirt cheap, highly stylized fish eye.
