Similar to the previous D250, but change is an improvement from my point of view, and the price is still unbeatable. SODIMM Swap in a larger storage capacity and a hard drive with higher capacity could not be easier. Upgrade to a real (not started), not Windows 7 is bad, and the operating system works well. Bluetooth works well, and this model, it is activated by a hotkey.
No one mentioned the charger outboard engines, but this model is a remarkable feature: it is small andLight, turns with a power cord and plug, 90 degrees.
The only thing I would change? The glossy surface of the top is a magnet for fingerprints.

I bought an Acer Aspire One back for a while, and we have had problems connecting to our wireless home network. several phone calls and "chat" attempts have been to a total loss of time the communication was with someone in Indonesia who could not speak, correct English. Their reactions ranged from "It's a problem with your ISP's, we can not help you (Internet Service Provider said no definitely not our problem, the problem of the netbook and Acer) You should run recovery '(Which is not to work successfully, despite the passage of each step, the letter) to "you need to buy a recovery CD $ 20 here, and you have 7 days from receipt of the CDs that have a problem with him" …. It is a laptop.
1st The buttons are easy to type.
2nd The built-in microphone and webcam work great (if you do not act, that is Studio)
3rd Easy to use and with (as most other netbooks, I guess travel)
4th Great battery life!

Except, of course, a few minor problems.

1st He did not come with a CD for the operating systems. What happens if it fails? Give us a call or customer service via e-mail?
2nd The multi-gesture pad is not as sensitiveas it is comfortable for me. Sometimes it works great. Other times, I make several attempts before it works.
3rd The surface is not very smudge-proof. Once the protective film is removed, you can see your fingerprints very easily.

I always recommend this notebook to others. And the most important question for me is the OS CD I would have liked to have.

Overall I am very happy with the LT2114u, but there are some shortcomings. The advantages and disadvantages, after about four weeks of use. This is my first Netbook of the way so that they have used only my impressions, previously scheduled books.

Benefits
1st The battery is great. It was announced at 10:00 clock and I have about 6 showed the use of light and electricity meters for about 30% left.

2nd It is very easy
3rd Peace
4th Boots very fast with XP. I wouldin less than 20 seconds. Shutdown seems just as fast.
5th Application performance is decent and I think it with a laptop 4 years old Athlon CPU, I would have to be committed. Basically disadvantages fine, no problem in general (see)
6th on Wireless-N network. Seems to be able to impose a fine stream video

Cons
1st Bluetooth radio. I had problems with one day. I think it is a problem, but the documentation does not specify whether the system is normal or not. I think it's a hardware or software error.Basically, the Bluetooth radio does not stay enabled after a shutdown and startup. It remains under stress, or sleep after hibernation.

The first impression is its beautiful appearance. I've never had before netbooks, but this product from Sony is very satisfactory. The speed is acceptable. But some people argue with Windows 7 Starter Edition, but I would say it is for light, and surf the Web to calculate, and it does a good job on these things. If you are looking for a second PC (desktop or laptop), and it might meet your needs. However, expect, if you think mainly so he can use to disappoint you. TheSystem interface is clean and very effectively, making it less cumbersome. Also, if you are worried about whether a GB of RAM is enough to run, win 7, Ubuntu can definitely be a good alternative.

I read the comments on this average elsewhere.

I bought it because it is one of the few 10.1 "netbook with a 1366×768 resolution (1024×600 instead, is the normal for this size). What fascinates me, because the higher the resolution means that more of the screen you get on a page. In general it is better for the browser word processing, etc.

This is a great little computer within its borders. Actually I wanted to travel and as a backup from my Dell desktop. The weight was very important because I'm a crazy old man retired and wanted to keep to a minimum, what I have to ear in the vicinity of airports. I had an early and small models ASUS was very good, but the 7 "screen, keyboard, were usable only by a four-year-old fingers and control progam oddball too easy for me. I added a second GB of RAM, by the advice in a previous post and install CT25664AC800 Crucial 2GB DDR2 SODIMM 200-pin PC2-6400 module. The most difficult part of the installation was getting the plastic container of industrial strength open without damaging the memory card. COUNCIL FOR someone who's never had a memory card installed: Go to crucial.com and find the instructions. The key is to avoid static electricity, and they tell you exactly how. A small screw holds thethe memory compartment closed and the whole process took less than five minutes. Despite the messages of others, my book says Acer clear statement that this model supports up to 2GB and it is true.

BATTERY really amazing in this model offers 10 hours, said even after several cycles. It lasted 14 hours, including four hours of "sleep" between two sessions. I recommend following the instructions and passes through 2-3 full charge / discharge for the season.

The Acer model is a good value with a 250 GB hard drive and longer battery life. The surface absorbs fingerprints very easily. The USB ports are a little tense. I bought the upgrade to 2 GB Crucial RAM recommended, as the 1GB of RAM standard treatment is slow, especially to start. The module Crucial was a very tight fit, but with enough pressure finally seated. 2 GB RAM definitely makes a difference.

So, feel free to get a netbook, because it is a bit small, and therefore slow, weak and difficult to read? These are my first thoughts on netbooks I started to think about buying one.

The Intel Atom N280 packs more pressure than I thought and I'm building desktop systems for more than 12 years. Of course this is not a dual-core processor, but still impressive.

I had the Acer, based on the price, size of hard disk and processor N280. INetbook primarily for use in multiple locations around the city with free wireless access. Since I have dial-up at home, it is sometimes advantageous to combine a little laptop to a faster service to have.

So what happens when you go online with the Netbook? I was on the amount of work I was surprised to throw in before the system is deadlocked. I used to have a link to stream audio to open a breach of the Radio City, then open another browser tab (Firefox) toDownload new software, digital images, or whatever. While waiting for other downloads, I close my webmail and check for new messages. It can run the push-to-go OT on the PowerPoint presentation or Excel, if the 3 other tabs are open, but in its "borders, you can easily open multiple browser tabs without the performance dramatically. Note that in the Energy Saver setting maximum you can expect that the processor to run at reduced speed.
<br/> 9 hours battery life? Of course you can if you saver setting the performance of the battery, used but I think on the development laptop, I can always squeeze 5 + hour operation simple.

The screen is small, but at first glance, easily readable, even in an outdoor cafe, it is not necessary to use maximum brightness to see clearly.

The Acer comes with 1 GB memory, and I just tapped one of the two 2GB out of my laptop and vice versa. Laptop is good with 3 GBand the netbook works better with 2GB. Capoacity Want more memory in a netbook would be nice, but most of them now appear on the market have a maximum of 2 GB

Windows XP vs. Windows 7? I prefer XP because it needs less memory and does everything I want. Windows 7 is good for a laptop or desktop, but, IMO, not a real advantage in a netbook, certainly worth more – even if all your friends who have …

No CD / DVD! Hey, this is aNetbook – go buy an external CD / DVD. If you want to load your favorite software, you must need this very convenient. And you really do not buy it to see your DVD rentals, is not it?

The SD slot has been useful, particularly to fill load download to my desktop or laptop.

Would I buy it again if I had the chance to Make-Over? You bet! Most Netbooks have similar properties and have paid the price, this is exactly what I ACER. Need You can pay more for some other brands and models, but you get nothing better.

I give it a 5.5 star star, because, as a Netbook, it means exactly what to do to obtain it, and wants more. It works very well my printer and scanner as well.

I bought this laptop a month or two before, and I'm in love! Before I checked out the others and read many different opinions. I had some good and bad input. Overall, if you buy a new laptop, which I did and go with your own decisions. I have no problems, and the start was fast, helpful especially with the wizard. In any case, the price is much ,,,,, color is beautiful … Battery life is good ,….. The buttons are straight and spacing of the screen is so clear. I have laptops for use with my work since the late 80s (that is, they have begun about the size of a suitcase with a small screen size of an oscillator to a computer had Dell D600). This netbook is my personal laptop and I love it. The size is ideal for carrying on the TRIPS Agreement, the keyboard is almost full size, the color is great, it is very fast in their start has a lot of memory, WiFi works everywhere, and much more. The NC10 does not come with a DVDDrive to store programs on your Netbook or watch a movie, but that is normal! It is an excellent investment.
