Customer Reviews

I bought this computer I use at school for notes and writing papers, but I used it for almost everything because I get it. It is faster than expected (faster than my dear Piece of C *** HP Tablet), but one of the first things I did when I bought this computer was to remove all unnecessary bloatware. It is bright enough that when I drop my bag, I do not know notes, and the battery lasts a good five hours, sometimes more, which is surprisingbecause it is also good for adveritised 2.5. The keyboard is a little strange at first, but now that I'm used to it, my typing has become much faster and more accurately on the small keys. I bought the brown copper, which is a nice, quiet, but Brown interesting (it is almost the color of cola, coffee or a chandelier). My only complaint is that the speakers at the bottom of the lower front of the computer are, so if you are a laptop as the sound muffled. Oh, and the screenhas a fairly large plastic border … I am sure there is a mechanical reason for this, but another computer of this size have smaller borders with larger screens and are therefore a total of the same size. I mean, I bought the 8.9 because I wanted a small computer, not a smaller screen.

All in all, this is a computer very little. Perfect fit to spare on the desks Colleges tiny space, did not crash once a month, I got it, and it is faster than Vista on XP (IImagine that this is still faster if I completely dump XP and load Linux). Another interesting note, I was near a girl with a new Eee PC the other day sitting, and we started at the same time. With his time was loaded and ready, I was already kneeling in notes and had three other programs open and running. Why, why Acer Did you have to interrupt this great little laptop? Even my So who bloody love is a Mac user of this computer.

Very sharp! Just one problem… – Nina Williams –
Note that I'm considering a netbook uses. The Acer us is very strong. The blue is beautiful. If blue is the color of the FAV, opt for the Blue Sapphire! The screen is excellent resolution with bright colors and very high. Fast for a netbook. Very responsive. Six battery offers a lot of time – more than six hours on a single charge. The only problem I have with a stick broadband. you do not need to know now, why not accept the netbook, it will – other netbooks are. Otherwise, it would be a five starReview.

Problem after 18 months -gentely used ! – Wen_c82 – Los Angeles, CA
I bought a Netbook Aspire One White (8.9-inch 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB Solid State Drive) 8 to use September as I travel alone – so I probably used a total of 120 hours or so in the past 18 months. I loved it – it's easy and fast to start, despite the fact that I know nothing about Linux, I was happy with him. But a few weeks ago I took it out to use and found that the first battery has just died completely. Ok, that's ok I can buy another battery. But Ialso got the sun is a star / bar (new item) that prevented me from connecting to wired and wireless. I googled and found a couple of users with the same problem without solution. After an exhaustive search I finally Acer contacted by e-mail on this topic, the answer to my return was the warranty has expired and you can try to restore the system to factory settings or contact representatives of their service (additional charge) to to help you. I do not have a recovery disc for the original purchase (goods shippedby Amazon, not a third party) so I suppose anyway tried Acer, you do pay more. Given that I received great care from my computer and have a "gentlely" is used, this is not a negotiation, and Acer does not care about some of their users.
This is the first time, and I would own an Acer.

Customer Reviews

I wanted a netbook for almost a year but I was hesitant to get one because of the price, and in the early days, the tiny hard drives. I do not know for school or business need, I did it for fun, it was an expensive kind of leniency that difficult to justify.

I found it for under $ 300 and decided to go. I have not regretted it, for one day. In fact, I initially thought that the netbook would be right to get "from time to time to use" I love him soIt became my main computer, I use them for everything, and I take with me wherever I go any (in a mailer in my pocket). It is almost as powerful as, and almost as large as the hard drive of my computer's Ex-Principal (year 2 1 / 2 old Toshiba laptop).

Because the car is much more difficult, I could more programs that I am not the intention of the background work load on the netbook, and everything (without memory extension). I do not run all the games of high intensity, so Ican not say how they wanted, but I have a photo editing software, and Audacity (free recording software) with which I record for [...] (include volunteer public domain texts audio books are free online), and two of them work properly.

Type I to live, so would a wonky keyboard have led me crazy. This is a very nice keyboard company. I have no problem typing on at full speed.

The screen is very nice. As others have mentioned, it is bright enough, butI had no problem with the time, it is a problem at all when I am using the netbook in the full sun, but works by a simple change of the angle very well. The only problem I had with the screen resolution, because of its small, sometimes I run a dialog box pop-ups in a program or site that I do not see any n, but "there is no scroll bar. There is a slight inconvenience, but only happened a few times (and I use the netbook far, every day), and it has notBut all this is not really a problem caused … and I knew when I bought it it was – of course – have a small screen. This was the point of obtaining a netbook, its small size. (And it might be a workaround for this, I have not tried to know, because it was not a big problem).

The touchpad works well for me. The battery life is very good – when is fully charged, it was actually a little more than 4 hours of juice. I did some research, and I read thatsuffer this type of battery is not of this problem of loss of memory, to when you load it without first running clear, but it will load over time damage. So I have never connected from the Netbook, if I do not use it. I put it in charge when the battery is weak, and make sure I take it whenever I can to achievement of full power. It loads very quickly and so far the battery life was great. (I have about a month)

If something happensI replace them with an identical model in a heartbeat. I recommend to my friends. In fact one of my friends had one first, and she likes it, some of which convinced me that it is buying.

One last thing, and what led me to writing this review come out today. Last night I spilled a glass of rum and ginger ale just above the keyboard and the screen. I mean, I saturated the thing. "Panic does not cover. I immediately took theNetbook and spilled it out and pulled the battery, then let them sit on the head for a while to clean, and put them back together. I also open the night. I thought it was a damn, and he was really sorry, but today – everything works! A few keys are a bit sticky now, but it is hardly noticeable, and it is really the least of my worries. Of course I would not recommend a habit, drinks sessionsomewhere near it or to test this theory (which you bet! that I learned my lesson), but I was very impressed with its durability.

Overall – a great netbook cheap. I am very happy with him.

perfect, light, cheap – A. GINSBERG –
Before, I bought a netbook, and returned with a large manufacturer, and always hated slow. I like this netbook, cheap, works well and I pull the battery for 3 hours. The larger battery brings more weight and also in airports, I am never far from a recharge. It is easy to carry. I bought one for my sister.

Excellent product..love it – Bonnie Troino – Florida
I love my Acer … I do not have a little trouble with it at all …
I want everyone to know how big it is.
Bonnie Troino

Acer netbooks horrible products – Janice M. Lee – albuquerque, nm
I do not recommend any Acer anyone. I bought an Acer Aspire One Netbook AOD250 and stopped working after a few weeks and the headphones. If shipping to my own center to dispatch service. When I finally got back a month later, the touchpad does not work. Must be forwarded to the service center again. Acer will not be replaced or refunded, even if the product is a lemon.

Aspire= trying but missing the mark – Christopher Plummer – Baltimore, MD USA
I think it's a little truth in advertising that it has appointed Aspire netbook, because it critically behind the brand in two important areas. 1) The wireless modem is just terrible. I do not know what it is .. It's slow and unreal .. must continue to try to load a web page at a time .. I am is in the same room with my wireless modem and it still hangs .. When I put in the ground line in all right, it is not the computer .. is the wireless modem. 2) The speakers are a joke crazy. VolumeThis topic is so low that you must use headphones .. Why bother to debate? I do not understand how this can not be strong enough that you can watch a movie in an empty hotel room quietly .. But .. You get what you so I'm happy, in spite of these shortcomings .. pay estimate

Customer Reviews

I am writing this review on the Acer netbook that I am today for a week and it works great for me. After I had taken home immediately removed all the crapware (like a Mac owner, I'd forgotten how ugly you buy a new Windows computer) and then upgrade to Windows 7 I filled the hard drive of 250 GB with my research and programs, and everything went smoothly. I recommend that you upgrade all the drivers from Acer's website after I on Windows 7This may be the reason why others have complained about freezing machines, etc..

I bought this model because of the Crisp 11.6 "screen and full keyboard, and I'm glad that I did not. It feels almost like an ultra-light laptop than a netbook, it is quite comfortable working with. I No problems with speed, most likely because I for Netbook (on the way to surf the Internet, word processing, an eReader, image processing core, etc.) rather than a laptopWannabe, who I believe is with those who criticize the performance at the wrong place. The build quality is good and there is nothing to do with the machine, which had me thinking about trying that Acer to sell a cheap product.

If you can afford it, you get a MacBook Air, but otherwise, the Acer is very hard to beat for under $ 300!

Newly designed from the ground up, the Intel Atom Z520 uses a 45nm (nanometer) design structure with new hafnium-infused circuitry–which reduces electrical current leakage in transistors–to conserve even more energy and give you more time away from the wall outlet. The Intel Atom Z520 provides a 1.3 GHz CPU speed with a 533 MHz front-side bus (FSB) and 512 KB L2 cache–which uses just 2 watts of power. (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system’s performance. The FSB carries data between the CPU and RAM, and a faster front-side bus will deliver better overall performance.) It supports Intel’s 64-bit computing architecture, which can allow the use of extended virtual and physical memory with compatible 64-bit software, as well as Intel’s Hyper-Threading technology for speedier multitasking.

Great for the price – Anthony Welby – Oceanside, CA
I bought this tower-top for my most recent mission in Afghanistan as a computer junk I did not care if they were destroyed. It took 7 months long, and still works great. When I ran it a little slow, but I have all the options a bit useless, because Windows disables loves, and she was immediately noticeable faster. I've had for over a year and use it now that I'm back. Ideal for travel battery lasts if you know that not nourish you in the vicinity for a while. I have a velcroedExternal 500 GB to the case of films, and he helped with the small disk. Overall a great value!

Just what i was looking for… – Carlos Escalante – Venezuela
I needed a netbook like this, I bought myself … The shipping was very fast without any fee. The vendor recommends … Regards

Acer Aspire One A0751h-1545 – Mark T. Russell –
Great product. Easy to use and wonderful price compared to others I checked. In any case, would buy from again.

Acer cracked screen – David Kelly –
Unfortunately, the screen was cracked on arrival and the point was not in stock. Very disappointed. I think that Amazon would be some form of discount on a similar position, or something for their client, who has been waiting two weeks on the road and then had to navigate the system back and offer to wait another two weeks to receive credit.

My 1st portable wireless computer. It compliments our two desktop computers for the trip because of his size. After the small screen demote (resolution for the elderly used to), it works very well. Recommend a wireless mouse and 8 GB flash memory for programs to download. Needless to say that the software is loaded with "trial" applications such as those pesky postcards in magazines. A couple of new computers, you can with XP.

No disappointments – Nom d’Amaz –
The netbook has had the best keyboard of all the models I am trying to find in the shops on the ground before purchase (Amazon), and a very nice blue exterior metal. The 3-stack means that you will trade battery life for lightness, and I'm content with that. The screen is also thoughtful, but almost like a mirror. I am looking for a non-reflective screen cover.

Acer Netbook – Sue Sullens – Maryland
Have not used them a lot, but I love it. Did not you you do not buy a cheap mouse and makes it easier. The screen size is perfect and it is easy to use.

Netbook for my wife – erag – Oneonta, NY USA
This was a gift for my wife, and she has not used yet. I think it is too small for my taste, but it seems to work OK, and it was with XP, which is in my head is still better than Vista or meet 7th
I'm sure it will be around to use in the kitchen, as she had expected.

Don’t Buy! – Harold D. Rawley – Houston, Texas
Bought this little computer, a little more than a year ago. Has worked out a little slow, but I was very happy with him until the end completely the motherboard. Would not it be on all boats. And it was only six weeks after the security breach!

Service, Service, Service – B. Rachwitz – Michigan, USA
The computer is quite nice, but how many have the touchpad is written, not very good. My biggest concern is the service that Acer delivers. I've received from our computer, and he had a few problems. Burn the recovery DVD does not work – and finally had to resort to burning CDs (nine CD's). Acer does not provide restore discs, but you sell them for $ 20 (Pretty crazy)

The big problem is broken with a small piece hinge. Acer does not respond to requests forto repair. They have no phone number to call you and all that she is running you. If you request it with cheap and about the service, then it is society for you.

donot buy an acer laptop – Keith Vanbrunt – Philadelphia
I have a repair Acer Aspire 7720, is two years old and completely stopped working after the first year, and now after another year he was arrested again and now they want to fix 200.oo and I over an extended warranty. Do not buy Acer PC

Can barely run WIN XP – J. Gallagher –
Bought in July. It was used by an employee for maybe 3 weeks before it was put to the side and I said, was broken. Restore and spent some time with one system and trying to see what were all those stories. This machine is so slow it is unusable, must be a bad hard drive. Not worth my time trying to contact the media, go to the Acer website and will immediately receive a degree of frustration that there simply is no other name brands feel my opinion too.
