Sony VAIO VPC-W211AX/T 10-Inch Brown Netbook – Up to 8 Hours of Battery Life Review
Customer Reviews
The first impression is its beautiful appearance. I've never had before netbooks, but this product from Sony is very satisfactory. The speed is acceptable. But some people argue with Windows 7 Starter Edition, but I would say it is for light, and surf the Web to calculate, and it does a good job on these things. If you are looking for a second PC (desktop or laptop), and it might meet your needs. However, expect, if you think mainly so he can use to disappoint you. To give mepersonal use, I have a desktop Mac at home and serves as my primary computer. And if I go outside, I wear this little thing with me. While Internet access is available I can always log back into my office at home and use some remote desktop to the heavy tasks on the mainframe. And if you really do not like windows, I suggest you try Debian, a free Linux. I have a dual system on the VAIO, and honestly, I'm on Ubuntu most of the time. TheSystem interface is clean and very effectively, making it less cumbersome. Also, if you are worried about whether a GB of RAM is enough to run, win 7, Ubuntu can definitely be a good alternative.

Kind of slow; no HD; great battery life tho – Erik J. Mccullough – Austin, TX
I read the comments on this average elsewhere.
I bought it because it is one of the few 10.1 "netbook with a 1366×768 resolution (1024×600 instead, is the normal for this size). What fascinates me, because the higher the resolution means that more of the screen you get on a page. In general it is better for the browser word processing, etc.
The problem is that I was hardly in a position to a 10.1 "screen 1366×768'm making. I bet 1024 is better. And then you get the review – that isthis thing is retarded, because he has more points to put on the screen. So, I'm on the wrong side on both ends.
In addition, the buttons a little bit drunk, that I have a further negative read and agree with now. Not that they are small, because it is a 10.1 "screen – unlike most Netbooks, the keys go to the edges of the keyboard from left to right. This enabled the Sony keys that have been bigger, but a conscious decision not because they hold to half an inch to the left and right. <br/>
The Vaio has no HD video accelerators, such as Crystal HD. Thus, any kind of HD movies are released.
The battery is good. He gets eight hours, she said. The only drawback is that the battery is thin and flat – it is used as support. What is on a table, it gives you the slope. It is less comfortable when on your lap Tho. But good news is that it does not get on their knees when superhot, either.
Otherwise, your standard netbook. N450, 1GB RAM,etc. When you consider that the screen is not so great the extra resolution, and watch the price compared to other netbooks – There are alternatives, probably better. I assume you pay $ 50 for the screen, and they should so you $ 50!
Tip: If you or nothing Netbook Windows 7, some turn from the Aero effects buy outside of the screen — they significantly slow the system. It seems slow, even after that, but it's just the natureNetbook. You will really make a difference if you have a laptop or high-normal range, that you (for work, etc.). You get what you pay for.
Buyer Beware: Flimsy Junk – Dr. R. W. Mehler – Los Angeles, CA
More Junk fragile Sony. They used as a good company, but now produce material for landfill costs.
Note: Sony is very, very stingy in determining their fragile junk guarantee. You do not know behind their products as the best companies are. Also note that if you try to reach customer service, they give a phone number, no e-mail or postal address for themselves and they are never anything in writing. Where does your garbage Sony, all that happens is endless circularInterviews with children at the minimum wage unnecessary customer service that have no power to do something.
Only buy this or other e-mail if you love Sony burn hundred dollar bills.
