Canon Powershot SD780 is one of the smaller Canon camera ever created. Together with the ultra-portable size, it comes with four colors, gold, red, silver and black. The camera is very smooth and elegant.

IMAGE QUALITY

Canon SD-780 is a sensor size of 1/2.3, which is very low, but not in the least. In my testing, the SD780 picture quality really depends on the lighting situation, or what ISO setting you use. At low ISO setting, the 80-200 image quality is very good. But of 400 or more, the picture began to fall (lose detail andblurred edges) by aggressive noise reduction. However, color / contrast are always very consistent through out.

As with all Canon cameras, the images directly from the camera usually bright and punchy. Canon strengthens usually red, and it makes the image warmer than the reality.

This camera is not something to photograph, to use serious work, but it is very good for web sharing, print regular 4 x 6th ISO images for comparison, visit my blog.

I still have a Canon PowerShot SD-1000 Digital I like this device very well because of the robustness and image quality. With this experience in my head, I bought this little jewel for my wife who likes to make "point and shoot", but still good results. From what I saw myself and my wife told me about the camera, I highly recommend it. The camera feels well made in the hand, not plastic like, but as strong, just good.
The price-performance ratio is verywell.

The Canon is the best digital camera I have ever heard! I waited for a digital camera, the big HD H.264 video takes and it does the trick. It is still the quality is that of a digital camera quality to the consumer, so you will see artifacts when you close. Nocturnes for consumer cameras are good but not great.

One question that I discovered on my Canon SD780is is strange that there are some vertical lines in video mode when the device in full sun.However, I can not lower the rating, because everything is so good at a $ 200 price!

Although we are a little excited on the Amazon, the price fell about $ 25 on the day we bought it, overall we are very satisfied satisfied with the camera.
